(A 3 part 60 minute Sci Fi political Drama intended for Netflix. Including 3 scripts and a proposal Collaborative work with 2 other Writers. This Excerpt comes towards to climax of the Script. Education Worker Ben James becomes involved with revolution and espionage after his little brother is replaced due to a new education reform. He has gotten in league with a resistance group called the Tea Room but has betrayed them with the prospect of his brothers return. In this excerpt The Tea Room led by their new extreme leader Marion face off against the police led by the cruel Social Worker Hopkins. With Ben caught in the fighting.)
THE monk and
the Samurai
(A 30 minute Action Drama Script. This Excerpt comes from the climax of the script where, Our Cowardly protagonist, Yoshi a Samurai and son of the Shogun finally confronts the Monk. A man that him and his friends wronged years ago. Yoshi has been running from this responsibility throughout the script but here he confronts his mistakes head on.)
THE DM'S Dilemma
(A 5 minute Comedy Script about Dungeons & Dragons. Ethan recently adpated this project into a short film. It was his first time doing this and due to lockdown he had to make some changes. The first and most noticalbe is that when this script was written, Ethan intended the parts of this script that took place "Within" the game world to be animated whereas the out of character moments to be live action. Due to lockdown he had to adapt the script so that it all took place over the context of a skype call. Due to this, a lot of the action had to be cut and the film was shortned as a result. experience
Ethan has been writing from a young age. Writing short stories and making his own comics. From a young age he knew he wanted to write for TV and Film so pursued a BTEC in Media and a BH in Screenwriting and Film Production. Where he has recently achieved a First.
Over three years pursuing a BA in Screenwriting Ethan has gained a lot of experience in screenwriting. He has written scripts of various lengths (30 minuet, 60 minuet, etc) and is currently working on a feature length screenplay. Far from just writing scripts Ethan has had experience with writing Script Reports to an Industry standard, Working as part of a small group when he developed a TV show with two other writers and he has recently concluded his work as a Script Editor for two groups of second year students working on their TV shows. He is now ready to pursue more professional work in the field.
